We have a lab near the Dallas, TX area that is currently set up for toxicology testing and managed and run by a management group. This laboratory is an interesting acquisition as the current toxicology business is covering the operational cost and could be continued by a new owner. The current business is direct pay and not reimbursement-related. The laboratory is utilizing AB Sciex for its toxicology confirmation and an AU640 for the screening. The current consultant is open to implementing a management agreement with new owners. The owners also have molecular equipment that could be added to the lab and validated for testing (would be separate from the acquisition). Owners are asking 1.2 million for an outright purchase.
